Piped Cushion Workshop Hurworth

Join us and learn how to make and add piping around a cushion!

Is this workshop for me?

Any intermediate stitcher or confident beginner who has sewing experience can make this piped cushion.

When is the workshop?

Saturday 13th April 2024

What will I learn?

You will learn how to make a nine patch (or Disappearing Nine Patch) block, make your own piping and add it to your cushion before adding an envelope back.

What do I need to bring to the workshop?

You will need:

• a supply of lovely fabric, wadding, piping  (full requirements will be sent out after you book on)
• your cutting equipment - rotary cutter, mat and ruler
• your own sewing machine, in good working order, and manual
• zipper foot, along with your universal sewing machine foot
• overlocking foot (optional)
• a travel iron and ironing mat
• your sewing kit - scissors, thread, bobbins etc
• your lunch (tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided throughout the day)

How much is the workshop?

It is £38 for the day. This includes a 20" cushion insert.
