About The Event

Is this course for me?

Are you a complete beginner?

Are you a experienced stitcher?

Do you have to work in the week?

Have you bought the equipment but have no idea how to use it?

This course is for you!

These monthly three-hour sessions are perfect for individuals who work during the week but still want to indulge in a creative pursuit for themselves. Whether you're a beginner quilter or have some quilting experience, this course caters to all skill levels.

In relaxed and supportive classes, you'll learn how to make a quilt from start to finish while becoming acquainted with your quilting equipment and sewing machine. Perhaps you've invested in the necessary tools but haven't had the opportunity to explore their full potential—this is your chance to unlock their capabilities and unleash your creativity.

Why should I take this course?

Some of the benefits of patchwork and quilting include:

  • Learning a new skill: Patchwork and quilting is a fun and creative hobby that allows you to make beautiful handmade items. In this class, you will learn the techniques and skills needed to create your own quilts and patchwork projects.
  • Meet like-minded people: Patchwork and quilting classes are a great way to meet new people who share your interests. You'll have the opportunity to make friends and build a community of fellow quilters.
  • Improve your mental health: Quilting and patchwork can be a meditative and relaxing activity that helps reduce stress and anxiety. It's a great way to unwind and focus your mind on a creative project.
  • Boost your creativity: Quilting and patchwork allows you to express your creativity and create unique designs. This class will help you learn new techniques and inspire new ideas for your projects.
  • Make personalised gifts: Patchwork and quilting allows you to create personalised gifts for friends and family. Or just make them for yourself!

When do we meet?

One Saturday every month from September 2023, 10am - 1pm (see below)

Our Saturday sessions provide an ideal opportunity to dive into the world of quilting at a leisurely pace. Led by Zoe, an experienced instructor, you will be guided through the entire quilting process, ensuring you gain a solid understanding of the techniques and skills required to create beautiful quilts.

How much is the course?

The course is £180 for 12 months, just £15 a month*.
