About The Event

Is this weekly class for me?

Are you a complete beginner? This class is for you!

Are you a experienced stitcher? This class is for you!

Whether you are completely new to sewing or have been stitching for years you will find something for you in my classes. I will teach you the basics from using a rotary cutter safely and stitching a straight line(!) to planning out and completing your future projects. Want a new pattern to get stuck into? I have designs that have been published for you create.

Why should I take this class?

Some of the benefits of patchwork and quilting include:

  • Learning a new skill: Patchwork and quilting is a fun and creative hobby that allows you to make beautiful handmade items. In this class, you will learn the techniques and skills needed to create your own quilts and patchwork projects.
  • Meet like-minded people: Patchwork and quilting classes are a great way to meet new people who share your interests. You'll have the opportunity to make friends and build a community of fellow quilters.
  • Improve your mental health: Quilting and patchwork can be a meditative and relaxing activity that helps reduce stress and anxiety. It's a great way to unwind and focus your mind on a creative project.
  • Boost your creativity: Quilting and patchwork allows you to express your creativity and create unique designs. This class will help you learn new techniques and inspire new ideas for your projects.
  • Make personalised gifts: Patchwork and quilting allows you to create personalised gifts for friends and family. Or just make them for yourself!

When are the classes?

Every Friday afternoon 1pm - 3pm.

How much is the class?

The classes are £9 for a two hour session*

I'm not sure I want to make a big quilt.

That's ok. We can start with a small project, each quilt block can easily be turned into a cushion cover or wall hanging.

Can I join in the middle of the month?

Yes. Our group is a mix of people at different stages in their stitching story. You won't be behind!

What do I need to do next?

Save your space and I will contact you and find out what you want to get from the class.

Can I contact you before booking on to the class?
